After the success of our first vintage, the 2021, of which we only have a few cases left, we are proud to have obtained an old vine albillo mayor grape with the quality we have achieved this year.

Emmanuel Ivars, who as those who follow us know, is the winery’s winemaker, is “absolutely sure that with this wine we are going to succeed”, in his own words.

Despite the rigors of this summer, the old vines are wise and, thanks to the little rain this September, the albillo mayor grapes already harvested for FERRATUS will give us a lot of joy, I am sure. It is a shame not to be able to transfer to paper (or to the screen) the smell of the skins of this grape because I assure you that I would love to make a perfume of how intense and pleasant it smells…
