MUNDUS VINI, the German wine competition, was created with the aim of recognizing and promoting the quality of wines, as well as helping the customer to make a choice.  It’s medals can be shown on the winning bottles, confirming the dedicated work of the producer and providing support when in doubt about a wine purchase.

This competition attracts more than 12,000 samples every year and is held twice a year (February and August). The results are published in the magazines published by MEININGER VERLAG; WEINWIRTSCHAFT, considered to be the most influential magazine in the German wine industry, MEININGER WEINWELT, MEININGERS WINE BUSINESS INTERNATIONAL, as well as on its website. Further, the wines with the highest qualifications are exhibited in a specific tasting area of the PROWEIN trade fair in Düsseldorf.

This GOLD MEDAL obtained makes us feel especially proud, because it means that our score is within the 40% of the wines that have obtained a score above 90 points or more by the jury (which is where the limit established).  The juries are made up of experts from different countries who blind taste all the samples, giving a score from 0 to 100 points.

Our Single Vineyard wine, FERRATUS SENSACIONES 2017, is a wine that will surprise you.  We only make it in excellent years and with grapes exclusively from our own vineyard in the renowned “Pago de Santa Cruz”. It is a wine with long ageing potential and great personality; a wine for those who are looking for the most exclusive.

FERRATUS SENSACIONES 2017 will be available in the Gold Medal tasting area within the MUNDUS VINI space at the PROWEIN 2023 fair located in Hall 1. You can also find it at stand 11G68, where you will be attended directly by María Luisa or Anna, who will be delighted to attend you personally and show you this and other wines.
