In order not to get bored and to start the month well, on May 31 Emmanuel Ivars, oenologist of Ferratus and personal friend, and I, landed in Switzerland with the aim of making a professional visit to our importers Jürg Ruferner and Ramón Stucki (in the photo) in this Alpine country. I must admit that I have visited Bern on many occasions, but never in such good company and with such success.

On Wednesday the 1st, the vertical tasting of “en premier” vintages of all our wines (including the new white and rosé) took place and I will not lie to you if I say that I could never have imagined the demonstration of enthusiasm towards these new wines (some of them will take years to be released) by our hosts.

My thanks to “La Passion du Vin” for their loyalty for so many years and of course to my partner in this little escapade, our master in making great wines, Mr. Emmanuel Ivars: from here all the recognition and respect that this great winemaker deserves.
